Born a Chicago native, Kenyotta “KenChris” Stewart is a musical artist who believes that music is therapy for the soul. With a voice reminiscent of vintage R&B and a charisma and stage presence that’s parallel to none, Kenyotta has embraced this new phase of her artistry. KenChris credits her strong family ties as one of her biggest muses. Being a wife, mother and daughter keeps her inspired to push the envelope of her musical development. Kenyotta has shared a passion for food which led her to obtain her culinary degree in 2020, hoping to one day incorporate her two passions into one business venture. Kenyotta has traveled nationally and internationally singing with many artists and currently sings background for National recording artist Terisa Griffin. In 2022 Kenyotta launched her solo career featuring her background singers affectionately known as MAH and her band, the JuiceMan Band. Kenyotta desires to touch the hearts of all who experiences her music and is known for her infectious greeting “hey happy people”
